The 2020 AFSCME International Convention
Has moved from Los Angeles, CA, to a virtual online convention.
Thursday, Aug 13, 2020 - Friday, Aug 14, 2020

Five members can attend virtually to participate and vote on resolutions.

If you would like to nominate yourself or another Local 800 member to be a Local 800 delegate, please contact unionlocal800@gmail.com, no later than Wednesday June 24.

By hard copy mail, we will be sending you this same message, together with your Weingarten Rights card, reminding you of your union rights, which remain the same in these times when so much is different in the way we work. (If you don’t receive this mailing by the end of next week i.e. June 19, please email us, because it means we don’t have your correct mailing address.)

AFSCME Local 800 is run by a volunteer Executive Board elected for two-year terms by the general membership. All members are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meetings to ask questions and give input. Meeting dates are posted on the calendar page of the website, www.afscmelocal800.org.
