Jewish Federation, Art Director
Lilia Arbona has been a member of the Union for most of her adult working life. She served on the Executive Board as Treasurer for 7 years, previously as a Trustee, and currently is both the President and Corresponding Secretary of Local 800. A graduate of MICA, she majored in graphic design because it is one of the most powerful forms of communication. Her ambition remains to create art for social change and she feels her Union activism is a natural extension of that commitment. A believer in a strong community she also serves on the Board of her synagogue, Nachshon Minyan in Encino.
“There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.”
-- Margaret J. Wheatley
